About the Company
port80ware, inc., is a web based software company, founded in 2004 by Paul Wieland and Tony Sardella.
port80ware was founded with a simple objective: to produce industrial strength software that is fast, easy to use, easy to maintain, affordable — and entirely web based. This objective was established out of sheer frustration with so called "enterprise" level software that usually fails to meet any of the aforementioned criteria.
And so, DocLink was born. Since then we have been delivering a 100% web based document managament software solution to small, mid-sized, and international enterprises. We wanted to develop a tool for today’s companies, both large and small, looking for a simple yet powerful tool to manage and store their documents and information.
DocLink, our flagship product, was built from the ground up with four basic goals:

- simple - Slick, clean, easy to use, web based interface
- secure - Built from the ground up with security in mind

About the Founders
Paul Wieland has been developing web based applications for over seven years. He brings a high level of technical knowledge and experience to port80ware. His areas of expertise include, HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, scripting, database design, interface design. Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Tony Sardella has over twenty years experience managing, implementing, integrating and configuring enterprise software solutions such as SmarTeam, Pro/INTRALINK, OCE Engineering Exec. His experience includes consulting, pre-sales, project management, business development, sales and team management. Tony has extensive experience with various document management systems and 3D CAD applications. Tony holds an Associate in applied science degree in Industrial Technology.
